Privacy Policy
Effective September 29, 2026
143 Labs is run by One-Four-Three Labs LLC (“143 Labs”, “we”). We run tea sessions, small-batch tea releases and Project Paradeiser. This policy explains what we collect through 143labs.co, why, and what you can do about it. The short version: we only collect what you send us, we use it to run 143 Labs, and we never sell it.
What we collect
When you apply for a session
Your first name, email address, where you’re based, how you’d describe your relationship with tea, what made you curious, and anything else you choose to tell us.
If you tell us about allergies or dietary restrictions, that is health information. We use it only to prepare your session safely, and we don’t share it beyond what’s needed to do that.
When you join the Bottle List
Your first name, email address, and anything else you choose to tell us.
When you email us
Your email address, your name if you include it, and whatever you write, for example when you ask us to bring Project Paradeiser to your team.
What we don’t collect
We don’t use cookies, analytics, advertising pixels or any other tracking on this site. We don’t track you across other websites, so “Do Not Track” browser signals don’t change anything here.
How we use it
- To review session applications, put together tables of people, and contact you about sessions.
- To send Bottle List members news about upcoming releases, what we’re working on and other 143 Labs news.
- To reply to your messages and arrange Project Paradeiser sessions.
- To keep the site working and secure.
We don’t sell your information, rent it, or share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Services that handle your information
We use a small number of providers to run the site. Each receives only what it needs:
- Web3Forms receives session applications and forwards them to us by email (privacy policy).
- Loops stores the Bottle List (your first name, email address and anything you share) and sends our Bottle List emails. It also records whether you open or click them, which we use only to see how our emails are received (privacy policy).
- Our email provider stores the form submissions and messages we receive.
- Porkbun hosts this website. Like most web hosts, its servers may log technical details such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, to operate and protect the service (privacy policy).
- Google Fonts provides the site’s typefaces. When a page loads, your browser requests the fonts from Google, which receives your IP address and browser details (privacy policy).
These providers may process information in the United States and other countries.
How long we keep it
We keep session applications for as long as we need them to organize sessions, and for no more than two years after our last contact with you. We keep Bottle List details until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. You can ask us to delete your information sooner at any time.
Your choices and rights
- Unsubscribe from Bottle List emails using the link in any email, or by writing to us.
- Access, correct or delete the information we hold about you by emailing privacy@143labs.co.
- Withdraw consent at any time, for example to our use of allergy information. This doesn’t affect anything we did before you withdrew it.
Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under local law. If you’re in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on your consent (for the Bottle List and any health information), on steps you ask us to take (for session applications and Paradeiser enquiries), and on our legitimate interest in running a secure website. You also have the right to object, to request a copy of your data in a portable format, and to complain to your local data protection authority.
Security
We keep the information we collect to a minimum and limit who can access it. No method of sending or storing data is completely secure, so please don’t send us anything through the site that you’d consider highly sensitive beyond what we ask for.
Children
143labs.co isn’t directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we’ll delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information, we’ll update this page and the effective date above. For significant changes, we’ll let Bottle List members know by email.
