Project
Paradeiser
An experiment in work,
gongfu style.
Slow tea for real work.
We come to your office and brew alongside your team.
What is
Project Paradeiser?
Project Paradeiser is a two-hour work session that replaces the usual coffee run with gongfu tea.
We come to your office or workspace, set up the tea and show everyone how to brew. Then you get back to work.
There’s no tea class and no agenda. You work as you normally would, brewing tea for yourself along the way.
The idea is simple: what happens when we introduce a slower ritual into an ordinary workday?

Paradeiser
Austria is my third home, and Paradeiser is Austrian German for tomato, a word that traces back to “paradise apple.” As someone who grew up in Taiwan, where tomatoes are perfectly happy being vegetables when required and fruit when desired, I thought the Austrians understood the assignment.
Then I married an Austrian. At that point, the name was pretty much inevitable.
Project Paradeiser is my sideways cousin of the Pomodoro Technique. Less timer, more tea. A little slice of paradise in the middle of a workday.
